Focused Support
Slingerland Extended Practicum Classes pair an expert coach with an educator so the coach can support that educator's understanding and implementation of the Slingerland® Approach in the face of the real-life challenges of teaching.
Slingerland Extended Practicum Classes are for those seeking certification as a Certified Slingerland Teacher or those needing additional support in implementation of the Slingerland® Approach with students.
Introductory Extended Practicum classes are designed to follow the Introductory Comprehensive class and focuses on those skills and techniques. Continuum Extended Practicum Classes follow the Continuum Comprehensive and focus on the complete Slingerland® Approach.

Participants will connect with their coach through the Institute's video collaboration platform. Through this platform, participants can upload videos of lessons, meet for one-on-one discussions, and work through the participant’s specific challenges.
